The Parent, Advertiser, Brand, and Product are required fields to create a code. This provides a detailed description of the company for which the code is being created – essentially, the details of what is being advertised. Choosing from a preset list of options allows for more consistent data for reporting and searching purposes.
In most cases, the Parent will be defined for the prefix and does not need to be selected. This is often the same for Advertiser. If the Parent and/or Advertiser do not auto-populate, the value must be selected from our preset list of options. You can contact Client Success if you do not find what you need.
The Brand and Product can also be selected from the list of options, however, there is the option to select Other, and then you must type in the value for the Brand and/or Product.
