Q: What is a qualified Non-profit organization? What is 501(c)(3)?
A: All companies recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(c)(3) charity are qualified Non-profit organizations that can create all registrations free of charge.
To request this, you will need to email firstname.lastname@example.org a copy of the charity’s IRS determination letter along with a finished 501(c)(3) form (see link below).
501(c)(3) accounts will be in the legal name of the non-profit and the billing contact information must match the submitted 501(c)(3) form.
The 501(c)(3) Set Up Request form can be found at: https://forms.gle/DhjYeM9ahZZbK5159
* On occasion, the CS team will find accounts that should be set up as 501(c)(3) but were set up as Standard rate. If/when one of these is found, the CS team will reach out to the 501(c)(3), agency and/or third party and notify them. We will then request the IRS determination letter and 501(c)(3) form. Once received, the account will be changed to 501(c)(3) and the codes going forward will be at no charge. The charges for codes created before the account is updated to 501(c)(3) will not be refunded.
